No. The rule I mentioned in a subsequent post is meant for punts that are blocked/tipped.

If a blocked/tipped punt doesn’t reach the LOS, either team can advance it. The punt was just so bad, because of the bad snap, that it didn’t reach the LOS without it being touched.

They have to fix that rule for this specific instance. Leave it in place for a punt that is blocked/touched, but treat it like a downed punt if it occurs like last night.

I lost a game on this rule. Punt was so bad it almost went backwards. We yell Peter. They pick it up and run it for a game winning touchdown.
