On3
HUDL

There’s talk that the staff is evaluating him and might make an offer. I watched his HUDL (I’m not a scout) and it’s decent. He’s definitely not an EDGE and probably not a SDE. I think he would have to transition to DT, and I think he has the frame to get to 285+ lbs while keeping foot speed and explosiveness. He has great length and can bull rush pretty well. On3 has him at 240 lbs but he looks like he’s in the 250-260 range to me, which would make the DT adjustment easier, but maybe I’m wrong about that and he’s more of a DE.

Has anyone followed him or watched him play?

Also, I hope this doesn’t mean we’re out on Reliford.

Well he's a 3*, so there will be plenty of complaining if he commits

Foolish. Never complain about a Louisiana recruit committing. There’s been too many examples of kids with 3* or less (JJets) getting under ranked

While true, this is ignoring the fact that we have tried to land big recruits and failed lately.

Hopefully we get some flips

We definitely aren't out on Reliford. Everything will hinge on his OV when he brings the family to BR. There's also about a 40% chance Jimbo gets canned. Only thing that will likely save him is to run the table or only lose 1 more.

That’s a losers mentality when you can’t get the 4 and 5 stars to commit which is what is happening. Sure there are outliers of 3* being studs but quit acting like it’s the norm. You aren’t competing for championships bc you have a team full of what you perceive as under ranked Louisiana 3*.

I get that. No one will complain more about how much the staff fricked up McKinley’s recruitment. But I’m not going to complain about getting guys from Louisiana to commit. I want them all at LSU

I look at it like this, the big media cameras are not in Louisiana and if there is a player who comes along quietly but has similar size and abilities then there isn’t much difference.

Look at Smith for example, you telling me that he isn’t the most gifted player on this team? Of course he is and he is still a young man like the rest of them. He still needs training, he needs technique, he needs consistency, and he needs to watch what he does with his body. It’s about developing these young men into men. When they hit that point, there isn’t much difference at all.

These guys don’t come here and hit a wall. They continue to grow and get better. Some guys take a little longer to bloom but when they do, it closes those gaps they had in HS quickly. So stop judging these guys from HS and let’s see what happens when they ready to play ball.

This seems like a ‘Pete Jenkins saying y’all need to look at this kid’ type of evaluation.
Don’t have to be an expert to see he has a good get off/first step and uses his hands well. Who wouldn’t want a quick twitch Dlineman with good technique. It’s the type of guys you need to defend RPOs.

He looks like he has strong hands. Needs some help with his technique

Has some nice length with long arms.

Saw him play live. Very passionate leader on the team. Looks like he isn’t done growing either can be elite with right development

I haven't seen one. I would think it would come after the regular season and before ESD.
