In my eyes, Hamas is Palestine's military unit they just don't publicly claim because they know all of the awful shite they do.
But they are synonymous. They operate amongst all Palestinians with no rebuke or friction. They are Palestinians doing the will of the People of Palestine. Palestinians support them...until the world is watching and they claim Israel is attacking innocents. It's such horseshite.

There was always going to be pushback from the Jews taking their land. Israel knew this. That’s why they buddies up with the strongest military and infiltrated their government.
Personally I don’t give a shite if Israel bombs the entire Middle East or vice versa but it’s clear that you and many others do. If you feel that way you should go to war. You also shouldn’t complain when inflation gets even worse due to our continuous funding of Israel (and this goes back decades obviously)
