You do take damn good pictures.
I didn't prioritize the Netherlands when I spent months in Brussels. Of course, I'm heavy into reading stuff about Market Garden, and I coulda made the trips into NL, but didn't when I had the chance.
OP, if you're into it, I'm sure there are plenty of WWII sites to visit. The Dutch were very different under occupation than many of the French, etc., and it could provide some interest.
I remember speeding from Amsterdam to Brussels for a meeting, and there is literally a tiny canal or road called, "Tank Ditch (road/canal.)" It was just out of sorts to see that kind of thing this century. It's either on the A4 out of AMS or the A11 out of Antwerp. It's absolutely nothing to see, but there is hidden WWII history all over.
