People go 90 in 60s all the time on the interstate. Especially on I10 in New Orleans. Most just get ticketed or car impounded.

He was driving over 70mph on Joe Yenni Blvd, not exactly the same as driving fast on the interstate

And once again, this was Kenner PD. They’re overzealous about their jobs.

Something about being Derek Carr’s teammate drives wide receivers to drive way too fast

He was going 70 in a residential area. He deserved what he got and maybe he won’t drive like an a-hole anymore.

He wasn’t near the interstate at all.

Well glad he didn't resist arrest or punched out a cop. But hope he can live and learn his lesson.

When they drive in a manner which is deemed reckless and a danger to others.

Bottom line is you shouldn’t be arrested for driving fast. Just held civilly liable if you actually cause damage.

Why do saints players (especially young black guys) decide to live in Kenner instead of the warehouse district or cbd?

So heckin weird

Its kind of lame of a cop to arrest a Saints or Pelicans player for going fast, especially if they are cooperative.

Just say he was going 52 in a 35 and let him off with a ticket.

70 in a 35 is kinda wild

It isn’t just kinda wild, it’s an extremely immature and selfish action. Speaks volumes to his character.

Hmmm, a quick trip to CVS and speeding back home?

I wonder what could have been at home he was speeding for?
