Hedley likely to be cut this week - as Underhill just put out a hit on him

Underhill tweet “Lou Hedley is the only punter in the NFL averaging less than 4.3 seconds of hang time per punt, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
He averages 4.05 seconds per punt. The next guy on the list is at 4.31 seconds.”
As we know from last week and the Penning debacle, and because Underhill is a dishonest journalist and basically state media for the Saints at this point, he only attacks player when his source tells him they are getting benched or cut. Then, in order to get ahead of the news, he will do an “analysis” of that player about why he should be benched/cut. He did the same thing in New England as well.

That's literally every reporter for Nola dot com and other reputable sources.
The Saints feed them a story and in return they report it for more insight later on. Basically every Jeff Duncan story
It's always the print guys, TV reporters aren't really in the know very much.

I don't understand how hecwas impressive enough to basically just Waltz into an NFL punting job. There have to be dozens of guys who are better at the job than he is, but he's just handed the position after one tryout.

This is quite the conclusion. I’m not saying it’s wrong but it’s also possible that he’s not an idiot and can see who is hurting the team. Players hurting the team will obviously be benched or cut.
Underhill has gone in dry on Pete and he hasn’t been demoted or fired. That kinda disproves your theory a bit.
