I like the early morning NFL ESPN shows on Sunday that go to a dozen reporters round robin that are in various stadiums LIVE early for a quick 90 second insight on what they have heard from staff while being on the ground/weather conditions.

I stopped watching Gameday because they talk down to the audience instead of taking it a couple of layers higher than "anything can happen with these two longtime rivals" and here comes "B-List Country Star that grew up 100 miles from Campus to tell you why he likes his favorite team's Coach and Star's attitude and energy".

I'd watch a College Football show on Saturday filled with unique stats/trends for the upcoming televised games on the ESPN family of networks and potential "Diamond in Rough" non-household name players that are trending to be 1st Round NFL Draft Picks to keep an eye on that day. Plus, weather updates.

I wish they could do that, but there are only 32 teams in the NFL and they aren’t going to discuss Thursday, Sunday Night, or MNF. Unfortunately there are just too many teams to do a representative version of this in college football.

SEC network could do this and typically do, and I now think that’s a huge reason I enjoy it more than gameday.
