You’re entitled to your opinion but I don’t get shitting on a place to which you’ve admittedly never been that is in your own state. It would be different if we were talking about a town that’s a dot on the map but Shreveport is our third largest city

Kafka shits on Rush but worships 60’s boy bands. I wouldn’t take him very seriously.

People in south Louisiana have Shreveport derangement syndrome. Talk way too often about a place they claim to hate.
People in South La also hate on Ruston, which is one of the cleanest safest city in the state.
So you have to take it with a grain of salt.

Shreveport never had anything going for it to begin with.
Not accurate. Shreveport at one time was home of the most independent oil and gas companies in the world and every major company had an office there.

Shreveport was a great town to grow up in 50’s-90’s.

Baton Rouge and Shreveport are both worse in the crime category than NOLA
Do you have a link or links??
I do. It looks like you are mostly wrong. Total crime in NOLA is lower than BR. That is due to property crime having a larger impact than violent crime. BR has worse property crime. Nola is worse in violent crime. But all three cities a pretty darn bad, even for Louisiana.
1 in 24 (41.12/1000) chances of being a victim of a property crime, 1 in 72 (13.85/1000) of being a victim of a violent crime in NOLA.
1 in 23 (43.99/1000) chances of being a victim of a property crime, 1 in 84 (11.93/1000) of being a victim of a violent crime in BR.
1 in 24 (40.88/1000) chances of being a victim of a property crime, 1 in 104 (9.62/1000) of being a victim of a violent crime in Shreveport

Shreveport was in step decline but with the new, weak GOP Mayor and a black City Council majority working an openly racist agenda, things have taken a turn for the worse there.
