I’m going to reserve judgment until we go against Bama’s defense. 2019 LSU carved up Bama’s defense. That was when I knew they were legitimately great.

This offense has beaten up on a lot of lousy defenses. The fact that we only have 2 legitimate WRs scares me a bit. 2019 had 3 great wideouts, and that made them indefensible. Kyren Lacy has shown flashes, but he’s been very inconsistent. He’s not a great wideout until proven otherwise.

Auburns Defense isnt the greatest, but they held Georgia in check. They arent a terrible Defense. We also moved the ball well at times against a pretty good Florida St Def.

When you say 2 legitimate you mean 2 of the top 10 in the nation? I’d say that’s pretty good

If your measuring stick for a great offense is 2019 LSU, you are going to be disappointed by a lot of great offenses.

Auburn had the #25 scoring D before we played them and were giving up just 3 more points than Bama. You saw the results. Now they have the 53rd ranked scoring D. We're more than halfway through the season. LSU's offense is legit.

The answer is ...possibly. What worries me is that our 3 of our 4 conference wins came against the 4 worst teams in the conference (excluding Vanderbilt). Bama, Tennessee and Texas A&M all have good defenses. We will see...

You don’t just luck into the numbers this offense is putting up. This offense can run with anybody in the county and it starts up front. Good luck finding a better group of guys on the line

Good fricking god!!!

Sure, we may go I. The road and get beat by Bama. But that doesn’t mean this isn’t an absolutely great offense.

It isn’t fool’s gold. We’ve moved the ball on every single team we’ve played this year.

So we need to have 3 NFL receivers to have a good offense? How often does that happen for any college team?

Mizzou would be a top 25 defense in YPG Allowed if they hadn’t played LSU. We added 30 ypg to their average. Arkansas would be in the top 30 if they hadn’t played LSU. Auburn would be as well. It’s not a perfect representation but you get the gist.

Currently these teams give up around 350 YPG and LSU puts up at 550 per game. The offense is legit.

You absolutely haven’t watched much football if you don’t think this offense is the 2nd best offense we’ve ever had at LSU. Not only is it legit but it’s going to be legendary, just like 2019.

Imo this just shows how dominant and how great LSU can be with a good roster. Imagine if the defensive recruits start showing up!!!
