It sucks but having YOUR interest in mind, its going to suck to report an At Fault Accident to pay for lets say 3k-5k in damage. You will pay more in premiums over the next 5 years for sure. You don't want to come out of pocket, file the claim but you won't come out financially ahead and heaven forbid a 2nd accident occurs over next few years...
Your advantage in this is that there is no medical liability at hand it appears which if there was, its an automatic you are forced to report it.
