Thing is, if demand is down and inventories up why aren’t prices coming down?

Farmers/fisherman/producers are getting less for their product but it’s still sky high for the consumer. Everyone is getting absolutely raped by the middlemen and retailers right now

For the retailer, 20% margins is better (for them) than 10% margins at twice the volume. Less capital, transportation, and shelf space costs.

If the producers are taking (and storing) the inventory... even better.
