Dude, he's not gonna sleep with you.

My unpopular opinion of the day:
While I don't agree with what he did, it's discouraging to see his entire career overlooked by this one incident. I'm not familiar with the situation at Walker High enough to know if there have been other issues in them past, but it's not like he suggested sexual things to this girl. The moms desire for attention and drama played a small role in this also.
Without the national "attention and drama", this a-hole likely never reverses course. If my kid had accolades and scholarships that they had earned pulled by this self important jackass, I would absolutely be calling for his job.

no one cares about your 2 cents, literally no one

He overstepped his boundaries and that's when he fricked up!

Then his replacement should continue these programs and keep his holier than thou attitude where it belongs.
Where did this guy get off with his footloose style preaching when he himself cheated on his wife with a bus driver?

Just a guess, but I bet this wasn’t an isolated incident.

Sure we were all wondering what your thoughts on this were so much it definitely needed it’s own thread.

First, I think what he’s done/did with the private sector to bring in the Nike shop, papa johns, etc. as well as his focus on realistic career goals and training is a blueprint that should be followed by more schools. That is progressive leadership.
Interjecting his opinion on what a student is doing off campus under the supervision of her parent is over the line. Then to take it a step further and discount her scholar merits is petty.
I have a hard time believing a rational person would consciously decide to ruin this girls high school life over a dance which leads me to believe something else is driving this. Perhaps a home issue, burn out, etc.
Lastly, I intentionally left out a few commas. I figured I could use some of your extra ones.

You are 100% correct
But
He screwed the pooch on this situation & should have owned it from the very beginning. It's unfortunate.

HE is the one that brought in the Papa John’s, the Nike store, the cookie shop, the PJ’s Coffee, and the neighbors credit union, for the students to enjoy and have access to during school hours
When I was a volunteer coach there, the joke between a lot of the coaches was "Where does the papajohns money go?" no one really knows, and it was often thought that he lined his own pockets with that money.
Yes the guy has done some great things for that school, but it does not take away from him being a snake. I'm not the only one that has been around him with that opinion either.

The guy who cheated on his wife with a Walker Bus driver (who he is now married to) and who's son used Daddy's master key to break into the HS with 4 other boys and vandalize- then ruled his son could walk at graduation while the other 4 boys could not? THAT guy was preaching to a girl about God? Oh ok..

He overstepped his boundaries, and when egregious as it was, repercussions will follow. Any one of us can provide countless examples of the same types of situations.
