Dang, y'all sure are young...
Haven't seen him mentioned, but Senator Russell Long was a BIG deal back in the day.

Back in the 40s and 50s the state of Louisiana had some serious clout in Washington DC.

FDR once said that the two most dangerous men in America were Huey Long and Douglass MacArthur.

If national only, Long x2, Breaux, Boggs x2.

If you include state, Edwin, Alario, or possibly a Landrieu.

Huey Long
Russell Long
Gillis Long (ETA: Frankly, this is the "utility Long" pick and could as easily be Speedy or Earl, but I like Gillis here because he was the Chair of the House Democratic Caucus for a few years.)
Edwin Edwards
Hale Boggs

What do I win?

(Well, he was actually after something other than his wife.) Vitter was a Senator who ran for Governor and lost because of infidelity. Livingston was a member of the House of Representatives who withdrew from consideration as Speaker of the House because of infidelity.
