It’s not just one university; it includes multiple institutions and is called Education City.
Education City was launched by Qatar Foundation with a goal of offering opportunities for knowledge and research across a variety of disciplines. The campus includes six American universities, one British university and one French university:
- Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar School of the Arts (VCUarts Qatar)
- Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar (WCM-Q)
- Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ)
- Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q)
- Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q)
- Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q)
- HEC Paris in Qatar
- University College London
