Joe Ryan seemed fine outside of the home run. He's been bad in the 2nd half but idk. Hope this backfires for them.

That was close to being Maldy’s best ab of the season

Didn’t realize they planned to ditch the starter so quickly. I normally like our chances against seven bullpen innings but it can also be tough to adjust.

It’s risky for them cause if just one of their bullpen guys has an off day that could be the difference in the game

Let’s just hope Urquidy can get through 5

Astros are better, maybe the best, vs good relief pitching in the league

That’s not a stat I’ve seen, just from memory

Maldonado with a better AB on a K than Tuve and Bregs

Offense looks grotesque so far. We've got 1 legit hit through 3 innings.

We're going to get a new reliever every inning. I remember struggling in a bullpen game like this earlier this year. With facing a new guy every AB, nobody locked in.

This strategy just doesn't even feel like real baseball. Long gone the days of a best of five being 1-2-3-1-2 pitchers.

LOL

What has he missed in 3 innings?

2 pitches

Miller missed 2 per inning last night

ALL for Twins. Absurd

I just have a hard time in seeing the utility of yanking a guy who was pitching pretty well after two innings in an elimination game. Even most middle relievers could push a little further.

And you checked games one and two, also, correct? Where the ump scorecard was greating than one full run in favor of HOU. Before last night, which was +0.31 in favor of MIN, all four Twins post-season games were in favor of the opposition.
