Why? Do not unbelievers do exactly the same with those who believes telling them that only their version of the truth is correct? How does that zealous adherence to unbelief somehow trump my belief in God?

And yet you are arguing that your version of the truth is the correct one.
It is amazing how the murdering, raping, dismemberment and kidnapping of around 1,000 innocent men, women and children, all in the name of Allah and streamed for the world to see, has stirred up the atheists on here so much. It is amazing that so many in this country hate conservative Christians so much that they seem to be siding with a group that would behead them with a laugh and a smile on their face. It doesn’t seem very rationale. Yet here we are.
You would think that the videos and stories coming out would have sharpened and crystalized in people’s minds that there are millions of people in this world who want you dead just for existing. But for many, some in this very thread, that is clearly not the case.
