Timing is everything - if Lloyd Carr had stuck around 1 more year Miles would have been able to jump to Michigan with no problem.

Jack Del Rio is way more likely to be had now than he was last year when the Jaguars were heading deep into the playoffs.

Now we're stuck with Leslie for better or worse. I think rational Tiger fans cross their fingers and realize that this wasn't our year anyhow. Odd number years give us favorable schedules and we'll have SOME experience at QB and a shot to have a nice 2009.

Why would Del Rio be better than Miles? His team is 4-7. Doesn't one bad year mean a coach is terrible?
