There are some good FEMALE role models in the New Testament, but the books are primarily focused on Jesus and His Apostles (all men if you weren't already aware). Most stories about women in the New Testament are given briefly, often without even identifying the names of the women.

The Old Testament goes into much deeper detail about some of the women presented there.
