But I'd love to hear opinions on who should be used as a role model instead of Taylor Swift.
As someone with a six year old girl, there are zero options amongst "pop culture' figures. Not many options out in the real world, either. Really need to go back to the Old Testament...

I have two daughters - the older one (14) can’t stand Taylor Swift and the younger one (12) likes her older music but not her…
We have never bought into “pop culture” people - ever - we have always watched old movies and their comedy ranges from old carol burnetts to bugs bunny to now naked gun and airplane (FF through a few parts)
My advice - as a dad who recently got out of the 6 year old stage get her into sports and develop her self esteem - she won’t need approval from the masses nor pop culture figures
Biggest thing is spend as much free time with your daughter as possible - there is a high correlation between quality of a daughters relationship with their father and personal happiness and high self esteem as an adult - effectively being a self-actualized adult - requires a kid earning their own success and for a daughter having a deep relationship with their dad. In our house faith has always played a huge role - but of the relationship with the dad is not there - good luck and your kid will scroll to find heroes
