That’s not reality. Especially with the economic background many of these kids come from.
I don’t blame them for taking the most money they can get.
But the question no one wants to answer is how does LSU combat this.
It’s fine to sit here and bitch about NIL and other schools outbidding us. But with LSUs resources, what can be done? Are there any solutions?

The solution is to either quit trying to compete or have an awesome coach who can make a competitive team out of second tier talent.
We can’t quit trying to compete, because we gave Kelly $100M.
We can’t compete, because Kelly isn’t good enough to win with second rate talent.
Woodward isn’t living in reality.
