Definitely not true. You must never have been to Birmingham or Bloomfield Hills. Sh$t ton of money there. When they see the Bugatti gone, they must make their move.

upscale and Detroit

Detroit suburbs are amongst safest communities in America.

Very segregated.

People's parents and grandparents fled Detroit as crime got worse.
As such, they traditionally have been tough on crime. Suburban departments have helicopters etc.
Police have crazy resources.

My mom lives in Oakland county.
She had police knock on door. They wanted to look in backyard due to report of an injured cat.
How crazy are your resources to deploy multiple officers for an injured cat.

Oakland county is crazy safe.
This shite will raise eyebrows.

Nah, you're just ignorant. Oakland County is very nice.

They had a County Commissioner for years that was famous for saying shite like this:

quote:

In 2014, Patterson referenced a "prediction" about Detroit, which Cain ignored in her column. Patterson said: “I made a prediction a long time ago, and it’s come to pass. I said, ‘What we’re gonna do is turn Detroit into an Indian reservation, where we herd all the Indians into the city, build a fence around it, and then throw in the blankets and corn.’ ”

quote:

“Anytime I talk about Detroit, it will not be positive. Therefore, I’m called a Detroit basher,” he said. “The truth hurts, you know? Tough s***.”
