re: Aaron Butler, Colorado football commit, 'steps away' for rest of high school season

Here to say I'm ok with it....as long as they are taking class, staying in school, and not treating it like a glorified sabbatical.

Honestly, if we still care about school and college degrees, some of the top HS players probably should sit out their Sr. year and focus on academics as much as football to be better prepared for college, especially at highly competitive schools like UM, UT, UVA, etc.

But that's only if we really care about school and college degrees...
