I have a tradition where I watch Scream and the first Scary Movie. I know they go off the rails at one point in the series, but the first movie is really great. And it makes it hard to watch Scream without laughing.

This past week I went on a Dario Argento binge and watched Tenebre, Argento's Dracula, and Trauma. They were all interesting in their own way. Dracula was kind of silly in parts but kept me entertained.
I also watched All Hallow's Eve, the precursor to Terrifier. This wasn't good.

The second one is arguably better than the first IMO. That’s one of the hardest-laughed-at movies I’ve ever seen in the theater when it came out. I watched it recently and it feels sort of dated now, but at the time it hit all the right pop culture buttons. And it’s still pretty damn funny in its own right now.
