I may get into a zombie kick soon. May try to watch Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and Day of the Dead and their respective remakes (of which I believe I've seen all three).

Or should I just skip the originals?

ETA: Or I guess Land (2005) isn't a remake, but just another zombie movie from Romero.

Skip the originals? Hell no. They’re all better than their remakes and the day of the dead remake is notoriously awful. Dawn of the dead remake is at least quality remake

If you get bored, watch "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" and let me know what you think.

It's a really old 70s zombie movie.

I probably should not have seen this at 10 yrs old. But, i had an older married sister who took us to a lot of movies we should not have seen.

ETA: Looks like it's actually free on Youtube.

If you want a killer zombie movie, check out The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue.

Such a fun 70s Italian flick. You’ll love it!

I did a podcast interview that came out about a week where I had to list my five favorite zombie movies that were not directed by Romero.

My favorite five were:

1. Return of the Living Dead
2. Shaun of the Dead
3. Train to Busan
4. Zombie
5. World War Z

I had a bunch of HM’s as well. Good time.

I’ll be doing another one soon where I have to discuss my favorite found footage horror movies.
