Take it to dealer and tell them it has issues with torque convertor shudder. They'll swap out the transmission fluid with an improved version and it fixes everything. All done under warranty unless you've blown through the mileage warranty.

Ya, I know it sounds weird that a fluid change can fix it, but that's what it needs. Toyota had this as well.

It's not a perminate fix. It's a temporary bandaid and can/will come back.
I thought this was inoy on the 2014-2018 models though.
Air gets in the oil and breaks it down. Changing oil fixes it immediately but the cycle continues. There is no permanent fix but to get another vehicle
