My heart goes out to Greg and his family

I'm crying typing this.my heart goes out to Greg and his family. Im 43 and has had a trumor removed from me through chemo and radiation. My heart goes out to Greg because I know sudden fear of hearing this, I know the extreme fight it takes to overcome but know where there's a God there is hope. be strong,have faith and fight brother. My heart is with you.#GB3strong

my fiance (no pics) and i were talking about this last night. She's a doctor in emergency med and sees complicated issues all the time obviously. She's under the impression that only the people that have the best character and strongest willpower are diagnosed with these issues. Thank you for sharing flatland and I'm glad you made it through that adversity. Prayers to Greg and his family. Im willing to bet he will see the field again this season.

These things hit hard when they remind us of personal struggles and tragedies. Without going into details, I have also been touched by this via a family member. It can be a long tortuous journey.

I know maybe hard to accomplish but if I were you I would try reaching out to his family, through Facebook or some other way. Sure they are getting tons of support but some words and encouragement from someone who has been through the same thing would likely comfort and help them and they may even have questions you could answer.

My 10 yr old great-niece has had a brain tumor since she was 17 months old. It couldn't be in a worse place where they have removed as much as they can without doing other damage.
Its a journey. Hopefully even if the initial news isn't what ever one wants to hear his path and treatment the doctors put in place make this where it is a bump in the road.

Football is a game. Life is a gift and it can be very difficult sometimes. Prayer is powerful and I am most definitely keeping Greg and the rest of the Brooks family in my prayers!!
