It’s what “those” attorneys do. If you file suit against everyone you reduce your research because the individual defendants do it for you to price they’re not responsible.

By asking for $?

He could send a message in an interview or a book after the criminal trial is over

No, they won't, at least not in any direct sense.

Their insurance company provides in house counsel.

Money is how we achieve justice civilly. Its the only way to do it. That's what civil court is for the most part.

If you are going to file a suit, you sue anyone who could reasonably have some percentage of responsibility. Its up to the courts to decide if they don't.

You sound exactly like the lawyer from South Park when they sue Thomas crapper because women can’t figure out how to put the toilet seat down.

This type of thinking is why insurance rates in this state are so damned high.

If he is "released" then that means voluntarily and they wouldn't get anything.

If it went to trial or certain motions are filed to get them out, its possible to get attorney's fees but usually doesn't happen. It can, but generally its all parties own costs.

But the Lyft driver isn't going to pay a dime out of their own pocket, directly.

If that’s the case then when you sue a poor person for damages and they can’t pay then they should have to work off the debt as your personal indentured servant.

What are you arguing about here besides attempting ad hominem attacks?

Are you arguing that Civil Court is NOT about money?
