That's insane.

And maddening.

I don’t know, but I hope he stays in Pittsburgh for a long time.

I just want it to end.

I just know Tomlin loves him which is and has always been concerning.

Just keep getting the ball to Perkins for my fantasy team and we are good.

This is the one I’m surprised about. Pretty obvious Rhule was meddling and that wasn’t his offense. Should get another shot soon.

He should just go back to running the speed sweep/fake speed sweep combo

Was his best offense

Tomlin will get to 8-8 again and Steelers will continue to think that's ok

Tomlin has never had a losing season

Only 3 times in 16 years has he been 8-8, and the most recent time was 4 years ago

This boards obsession with thinking Tomlin only keeps a job because he is black is awesome

Besides Bill, he is by far the most deserving head coach in the nfl. It’s not close

Chan Gailey was employed in the NFL for what seems like 30 years. Once you are in you are in. Its a small club and they recycle the same O and D Coordinators over and over and over no matter how bad you fail.

I have this discussion every year with my friends. It is hard to be a great/good OC/DC. It's not hard to be medicore to bad and still get jobs if you know the right people. I am convinced that it doesn't take much talent or skill to be mediocre to bad as an OC if your full-time job is to scheme and call football plays, a lot of people could do it and be bad to mediocre like a lot of the league.

Maybe Steelers fans know this better than me but don't the Rooneys not fire people? They just let contracts expire?

yeah, I remember that, but I tell you what, LSU had a hard time scoring on Fla state when they were inside the 5, and also when they needed a 1st down on another drive on a 4th down because of lack of offensive imagination. I tell you what, Canada is not popular with LSU fans, but I think if they would have called his patented jet sweep play in either one of those instances, I they it would have worked. Give it to Nabers or whoever and let them fly to the corner.

Very rarely.

But I do think he needs to step in and tell Tomlin that Canada needs to go.
