I threw an Astros party into the OG Oregon trail headed up by Dusty Baker. Our party is

Uncle Mike
Fat Chas
Yainer
Maldy


I tried to play it as FODB would. In gathering supplies, I had him ignore all the advice the shop keeper gave because he don't need no help. You recommend 6 oxen? Give me 2. 200 pounds of food per person? Chas would just eat all of it. 40 pounds total. Only the veterans get two sets of clothing. The wagon won't break, spare parts would just weigh us down and we're already toting fat Chas.


10 miles in, an oxen died

20 miles in, the wagon broke

40 miles, we're out of food

49 miles we lost the trail and Uncle Mike has exhaustion

A wheel broke, Dusty can't fix it. You must trade supplies for a wheel. We don't have enough to trade. Uncle Mike has died of Dysentery. Maldy has measles. Fixed the wheel. Maldy is exhausted. Fat Chas has died of starvation. Yainer has a broken leg. Maldy has died. Yainer has died. Dusty has a fever. Dusty has died. We made it 80 miles.
