queso in general is the most ridiculously marked up item i can think of in eating out.
i love it, don't get me wrong, but most places will throw out $8 for heated up cheese with pico in it. $12 if you want to make it 20% larger and call it medium.

$100 filets, $75 dollar chicken entrees, $25 dollar shrimp cocktails, etc is fricking insane.
