They did a good job but Heard and Jones looked confused a few times
To be expected from a true freshman and true Sophomore

They did a great job for the most part. There were a few plays where the right side of the line looked lost, true FR Heard seemed to be going to the wrong guy on a few zone read plays, and too many pre-snap penalties, but overall they played well above average overall against an SEC team on the road.

I wouldn't say great but good enough to feel positive moving forward. They're good and getting better.

Nuss has got to be thrilled knowing he will have Campbell Jones and Heard protecting him next year
They will be the best OL in the country

Complimenting one side of the ball in football runs the risk of one hand clapping. The performance must be evaluated against State's D-Line. It generally seemed it was men against boys. I'll reserve my admiration for their performance against a more worthy opponent.

Once they get the right side figured out for good it will be even better. Jones is a guard and I hope he gets to play there more meaning Heard takes a step in his pass blocking. He’s already steamrolling people in the run game.
