F35 FOUND: Debris field located near Williamsburg County in search for missing F-35 fighter jet, officials confirm.

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- Officials with Joint Base Charleston confirmed that debris from a F-35 fighter jet that went missing Sunday has been located near Williamsburg County.

The search began Sunday after a pilot was found on South Kenwood Drive in North Charleston after safely ejecting from the passing plane.

Joint Base Charleston said the incident involved “mishap” involving an F-35B Lightning II jet from Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT) 501 with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. George

How the hell did it take this long to find a a jet that plowed into the ground at 400 mph?

When rescuers arrived at the pilot he was ordering a Chik-Fil-A Combo Meal with a DP down the street from his landing point.
