Go back and look how JD5 moved in the pocket yesterday

A lot of people don’t want to hear it, but if Jaden figures this out on a consistent basis, he is lethal. Not just in college.

His pocket awareness against State was spectacular. People chalk it up to “he had forever because of the O line” which is true to an extent.

Go watch how he stepped up, pushed right and left, delivered balls and took hits.

He climbed the pocket several times like a pro.

Just sayin’

He looked like a pro. Something clicked. Hopefully he doesn't regress.

Bro, he isn’t going to be a serviceable NFL QB. Give it up.

QB plays better when his line gives him time

Crazy talk

He just lacks elite arm strength. He's really good at everything else you would want from an elite qb.

He looked amazing yesterday. Not perfect, but who ever is!

Instead of tucking his head and running at the first feel of pressure, he moved around, stepped up but most importantly kept his eyes down the field.

His scrambling was when needed instead of the first reaction to pressure and was timely.

He threw some 50/50 balls deep, showing trust in his receivers with TDs as results.

Very refreshing and exciting for what is to come if he has turned the corner as he showed he can this past weekend.

He followed the game plan well. Go back and look at the early drives--he took the open man and short passes didn't try to overdue anything. Later, as the defense started to play up he went over the top with an accurate deep ball.

Only question is MS perhaps very bad on defense or the scheme they use was a bad matchup. But, also very notable was our ability to run the ball well--Diggs picked up good yardage and looked tough and all the RB's came to play.

I know we are all happy with the results but, MS offense was beyond horrendous so the offense was operating with no pressure of having to win the game. It was for a change a very relaxing game to watch our Tigers in.

You really think “A lot of people” don’t want to hear that? Come on man

This message board is a cesspool of trolls, sh!t starters, and a few genuine idiots. This board is not a representation of the LSU fan base as a whole. I promise you IRL 99.9% of LSU fans are happy to hear they have a great quarterback, whoever it is.

He was nearly perfect and deserves to be named player of the week nationally. Did all the things everyone has clamored for him to do. Only critique is he needs to protect his body better on runs and slide more often.

Will he play like this all year? Or will it be like last year? Had the great stretch against Florida, OM and Bama then looked absolutely horrible against Arkansas and TAMU. It’s a valid question but certain posters here lose their shite on anyone who has the audacity to ask given the large sample size JD5 has at this point.
