I don't think it will matter what changes he makes. I think that he has lost the confidence of the team. It's over. His co-DC decision was his Tepper moment. He blew it. Sorry Les.

He needs a home run on his next choice. No question about it. There is still time to turn it around with all the talent on the roster.

I agree, I was a Miles Man also but what did it for me is yesterday seeing how good JJ was in the first half. Miles could not recognize this talent all season? He sat JJ and let us suffer through all of those pitiful passes?!!

something major has to change, I never was fully convinced about miles, but you just couldn't argue the numbers so there wasnt much to say about him. I mean crap he won a NC, but in the back of my head, and i think quite a few LSU fans, since the time he was hired kind of was thinking, uh oh...

What would everyone be saying if WVU wouldn't have choked last year and let LSU in the MNC game? He might be on the hot seat for real.

BTW: LSU was just as undisciplined last year just had better defense and QB play to overcome it.

On defense,we need an aggressive, tough coach like Pelini was and what Muschamp is.Someone with passion and fire. Also,we need to recruit faster d-lineman and linebackers.I loved when we had big, powerful dlineman that over matched the o-line like Lavalais,Jackson,Dorsey, and Spears. But the days of 290 pound d-ends in the SEC are over. The spread is in,and we need 250 pound 4.5 guys up there.

Probably. Now starts the bad part. The waiting game. If next year is just as bad, or, as I expect, worse, does he get the boot then? I'm not sure.

LSU certainly has a history of being overly patient with coaches, usually waiting until they've completely destroyed the program before finally giving up on them. But these are different times. There's big money involved and an infrastructure that simply can't be supported without a successful football program.

Maybe, for once, LSU will be proactive and get rid of a coach while there's still a program to save. Maybe Miles won't see 2010 on the LSU sideline.
