It honestly depends on the child. We have 5 boys from ages 20 down to 2. Our 3 oldest all did this at different ages. Typically between the ages of 6-7 is where we experienced it. Our 8 year old was the first to shower independently. The others have done the bath setup longer than him. We have a 4 year old that already showers about 85% independently.
They are all different, so don't sweat the details just enjoy them, they all run at a different pace in life
