Guidry would play the 3rd series every game IIRC. Hodson, I doubt he liked it, would say it helps him see what the defense is doing. I don't really remember how much Guidry would play after the 3rd series...he was also more of a runner. If we had a Hodson in the last 15 yrs we would probably have 2 more titles.

Yes because his QB’s are terrible. Jayden is not terrible. Theses are two totally different situations.

Some LSU fans think rewatching the tv broadcast is considered film because they have no idea what actually watching film is.

last week there were a bunch of posters saying Saban would've made a change at qb in the FSU game...his qb played worse than JD has ever played and still didn't make a change

This is so incredibly stupid. He is who makes the OL, RBs, and WRs look worse. The running game would improve with someone who is a real threat to throw down field. The OL would look better with someone who gets rid of the ball faster and doesn't bail so quickly out of clean pockets. The receivers would look better for obvious reasons.

So in order to have a 2 QB system we’d need Nuss to be given the main QB spot and we’d need Jayden to accept a much lesser role.

Absolutely. Which will open the run game and allow for a balanced attack.

Failure to get into the endzone was a problem for JD for FSU x2, Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Georgia. Wouldn't hurt to try something new. Playing Purdue in a shitty bowl wasn't exactly a tremendous end to the season.

some of our fans think a dual threat qb is easier to defend and prepare for than a pocket passer

It wouldn't be, if LSU actually had a dual threat QB. Throws at the LOS scrimmage do not equate to dual threat. Throwing successfully down field is what opens up the other threat.

Preparing for JD is actually quite simple. Punt block formation or 9 guys in the box

Some of these dudes need to just get a six pack of beer, a steak, some doritos with tostitos cheese, and enjoy football like the american fatass football lovers we all are. Leave the film to the coaches and get a real hobby

Hodson/Guidry wasn't a 2 QB system in the traditional sense. But it was a program designed to get Guidry some PT while also giving Hodson an opportunity to view the defense. It was the 3rd series of every game each half. Because it was planned and used the entire season there were no confidence or ego conflicts. It would work here also.

Look at the teams with a pulse and avoid the Pee Wee opponents. Those stats are cute. Jd was one of the worst in the SEC for yards per attempt and completion last season. Putting the ball in the endzone against quality teams and completing balls down field are his weaknesses. I know you guys aren't dumb enough to think that he does well in those categories. He is good enough for 4 losses, but nothing more. LSU needs even more points this season because the defense is awful. 5th year senior just needs more time to develop.

That is what all of these teams thought about LSU's coach while preparing for JD. Same ol shite and lack of productivity (points) in too many games. Ark, A&M, Auburn, FSU, and Tennessee have embarrassed him. Obviously, it isn't too hard to scheme against him. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Well seems to me the GOAT Nick Saban could have used your advice last year buddy. I'm sure you can call him up an offer up your defensive gameplan for this year. IDIOT.
