Yea those would’ve been my biggest complaint had it not been for the DJ stuff. Mine kept moving the whole time. I get the need to adjust them which I appreciate LSU wanting to give that option but they were really cheaply made and kept moving the entire time.

I don’t go to horse races be cause of the convenience of concessions but when I do go I know where to get my Ruben and yingling. Poor speakers don’t detract value if you are a dedicate fanatic. Other fans not going to the game however is a detractor for atmosphere. Traffic is an excuse if you are a real fan. Now malfunctioning plumbing is will be a detractor if you have females that would normally go in your party. The total price of a full season all necessities included in this economy out weigh the entertainment value vs staying home is far more attractive to lower income folks. Even bad seats are overpriced.

It doesn’t take much to make me happy when attending an LSU football game. If there is cold beer available and maybe the occasional somewhat warm hot dog, or an occasional soft drink for a mixer…that’s about all I can ask for. Bathrooms not super clean? It’s a stadium, is what it is. Hot dog not absolutely delicious? Don’t really care. Soft drinks flat? Fine as long as they actually have them which they often run out quickly.
What I can’t begin to understand is how in the frick lower bowl bathrooms (near top of lower bowl) on the west side outside of sections 100-102 - men’s and women’s - were out of order throughout the FIRST HALF of the 1st game of the year. That is mind blowing. Concessions ran out of shite as well and the concession workers were as dumb/rude/dgaf as usual but man the bathrooms being out of order in the 1st half of game 1 is an absolute joke (didn’t check if they had been fixed in 2nd half)

What tradition? Games being so boring that 90% of the people leave at halftime? I've said it before - no fanbase hates football as much as LSU fans. And nothing LSU does to try and entice people to stick around -like sell alcohol - is going to work. People just can't wait to get the frick out of Tiger Stadium.

A dj is fine if they just play music…unfortunately most want to talk and they sound like they have marbles in their mouth

Who is paying the bills? “The kids” sure aren’t the ones bringing in the cash to pay coaches, players, external relations representatives salaries. We’re going to change a century of tradition for some drunk arse students who are heading to the exits before half-time? It’s LSU football in Tiger Stadium if that isn’t enough to entertain you without a dj and a screeching “karen” on the sidelines, you are the one who should be staying home.

If the promotions people thought that having a DJ and a screaming emcee would keep fans in the stadium longer, then they were predictably wrong. And since it didn't work, eliminate both of them and we can call it a day and pretend like it never happened.

So I can check the rant to see what I should be pissed off about during the game. It’s miserable being there in person, enjoying it and having a good time and shite not knowing what the Rant approves of and disapproves of. Do you realize how long it takes for this site to load on my phone while sitting in the stadium?

Can almost bet you All you old farts are out of eligibility and it’s the high school kids that they are putting on the show for , It’s cool to them, And before y’all go into the “I bought a ticket” meltdown this is LSU the brand , Games tickets will sell wether you go or not

LSU isn’t raising ticket prices because they’re selling too many tickets. They haven’t had a sellout in almost a decade. Fan attendance keeps dropping every year. They don’t care if the place sells out because of all the TV money they get every year. Same with concessions. They’ll go with whoever is the cheapest. They don’t need the experience to be great. They just need it to be cheap.
My wife and I gave up our season tickets in 2021. It has just become so much a process to go to an LSU game from New Orleans. We started going to Saints games. Today, my wife and I,along with our 2 kids, headed to breakfast at 9am. We were on our way to the dome by 10:30. Enjoyed the game and walked back in our door at 4:20ish.
I don’t miss the days of getting home at 1-2am from LSU games at all.
