I've done something similar with TSLA for a few years now. Up to 65 shares. It's done pretty well. It's a long hold for me though.

How much growth should be expected at this point? Gets more and more difficult the bigger a company gets

They're targeting India for retail and manufacturing. They believe like 40 billion over the next 10 years from India alone.
Take that for what it's worth. I don't know how predictable or reliable India actually is.

Not a stock, but could buy as an etf as a solid answer to OPs question. AAPL would be another consideration for me. Don't think you would be disappointed with Waste Mgmt either.

NVDA has been great, but not likely for 10 years. See Qualcomm.

Hard to go against TSLA right now, but I worry the powers that be might turn on Elon.
Why? a 10-year horizon and you'd go with a company that already has a ton of growth baked into the valuation? No, thanks.

Tsla up 8% today. I also buy TSLL which is 1.5x returns. Doing well today.

Why not take the $500 and invest it in 5 different companies to spread the risk a bit, but still be exposed to high growth potential stocks:
1) AAPL - $100
2) MSFT - $100
3) TSLA - $100
4) NVDA - $100
5) META - $100 (I like this one as it could have big upside if they can figure out the monetization for Threads and Metaverse)
He might as well buy IYW or similar if he wants concentrated tech and not frick with individual stocks, plus would get some diversification with its other holdings.

The correct answer is BRK-B. Berkshire Hathaway B shares….b/c A shares are $555K a share.
Currently $365 a share and up 18% YTD….69% over 5 years (13.8% avg per year).
