No. Grand Isle is the only inhabited barrier island in LA

I’ve slept on my boat a few times behind Isle s Derniere, but mostly it’s just a bunch of pelicans and seagulls:

No, but I camped on one before, in July, and to my extreme surprise, I was fricken cold at night.

We always had a houseboat at either Last Island or Timbalier from my childhood to my thirties. Spent most of my summers on or around those islands.
