3rd and goal from the 1. pick play for Brian Thomas who is wide open. doesn't get the ball thrown to him. Great catch by Nabors on an absolutely horrible throw.

This is probably a pick 6 by the guy that jumps if he throws it to Brian Thomas

quote:

end of 1st quarter on a 1st and 10, just a terrible throw to an open guy. Read the blitz right and threw it to the right place, clean pocket, just abysmal throw that was bailed out for a PI call.

Watching this live on the replay you can clearly see the hold affected where Nabors would have been. He would have caught it without the PI

quote:

Right before the end of the half, wide open Nabors right in front of his face, holds the ball and almost gives up a fumble deep in our own zone.

Probably has something to do with Campbell offering no resistance to Jared Verse on this play. He went right by him

quote:

Last play before 1st half, Nabors is running across the field wide open, good chance to score a TD.

Do you not see the LB in front of Nabors and the safety right behind Nabors?

quote:

3rd and 10 and punted after this. While this one was a drop, and could have been a TD of Lacy catches it, it's a single high safety with Nabors already beating his man up the right side. Throw the ball up to him. He looks right at him and doesn't throw it.

Is he penalized for throwing it to a different WR on an easier throw that should have been a TD?

quote:

3rd and 6 middle of the 3rd, even if Nabors doesn't slip, it was still a terrible throw that would have been intercepted, to a receiver that wasn't going to be open.

I'd argue that if Nabors doesn't slip he catches the ball

And this is all coming from someone who believes JD should be on short leash before giving Nuss a shot
