Its easier to Coach. Its a simple as that. Being under center has its advantages in play calling for sure. But shotgun is easier to teach especially for the QB. Never has to turn his back to the line of scrimmage, easier footwork, etc.

In other words, we aren’t prepping our QBs for the NFL. Why use that excuse for one player but not the team.

Just curious, what’s your experience level in this matter? What’s the highest level of football you’ve coached and how many years did you do it?

Only asking because I have a few questions for anyone that’s willing to help me out
