What is the LSU standard? Is it being met?

Since 2003, the standard is to compete for and play for a National Championship.

What we all saw last night is no where near that.

Defend the players, defend the coaches.

There is trouble in Tigertown and the fix won't be easy.

I expect more and if you don't, you can always become an Ole Miss fan.

The longer I live, the more I feel that I know very little about college football. If you would’ve told me when LSU lost 29-0 in Tiger Stadium to Alabama that the very next year, they would be the greatest college football team ever assembled, I would’ve recommended you see a psychiatrist.

The LSU standard is to fight like hell for 60 minutes no matter what. The LSU standard is when one man goes down the next guy will play his azz off to take his place. The LSU standard is to be aggressive and use every ounce of strength to beat your opponent.

And no, we didn’t measure up last night. Not because of the score, but because the way we okayed the game.

It’s to win.

Anything less than that is what we see here this weekend.
