Mascona has almost no knowledge when it comes to football. How a person with limited sports acumen is hosting a sports show and has his opinion taken for anything other than comedy is the problem.

JD is a mediocre to average QB that is a dynamic runner. You can’t be awful in a major phase of the game (deep passing) and be a great QB. Dit was clear that FSU didn’t respect the deep ball and it killed the running game and clamped down on the passing game.

Scona is company man. Cant/won't criticize #5. Drinks his Mockler Budlight and insists this is the best we have.

he has to play better to hold off Nuss

but he wasn’t the worst part of last night and people seem to want to blame literally everything on him.

people will literally tell you we can’t run because they put 8-9 in the box and just play man on our 4 receivers.

I don’t think anyone is blaming JD5 as the entire reason for the loss. The defense was more responsible, but JD5 did not have a good game. He made bad decisions, selfish ones at times and the offense was limited by his lack of skill on the long ball, and his poor decisions in run options.

He’s not why we lost, but is a part of the reason.

He is right…if your secondary can’t stop the pass then we need a QB that will also light up a secondary. Someone who will throw 35-40TDS with 8-10 picks

We don’t have an elite QB. Fact.

Both our QBs are vastly flawed and limited in their overall abilities. FACT!

We win about the same number of games regardless of who the QB is. Fact!

Nuss has never been a full time starter, so how can you compare him to Daniels who's had 44 starts?

Did he look tentative last night? Yes. I think JD is a good QB and maybe under the right leadership he would look great.

Lacy drops a sure TD and another big play that would have resulted in 10 points at least not including momentum changer.

That probably gives him nearly 400 yards passing. This certainly wasn't all on JD. Do I think Nuss gives us a better chance? I'm not so sure. He's inexperienced.

We will go as far as the oline and DB's take us this year. JD will be JD. Good and sometimes great.

The DB situation is a problem that I don't think gives solved.
