First of all, why do you assume I have a preference for Nuss over Daniels? Daniels was very exciting to watch, and was more consistent than Nussmeier over the course of the season last year.

You’re simply ignorant if you don’t know that coaches sometimes substitute a talented backup as part of the game plan, independent of the performance of the starter. Heck, Saban did it recently, and KELLY DID IT LAST YEAR WITH THESE EXACT PLAYERS.
