He’s basically a tight end that lines up out wide. I get that he’s tall and that he runs fast in a straight line. People act like our guys haven’t lined up against fast physical guys in the SEC before.

They’ve got weapons, but we line up against dangerous weapons every day in practice and every week in the SEC.

No we aren’t going to hold him to 0 catches, but it’s reasonable to think we can keep him to 4 or 5 catches for 50-70 yards.

He looks slow and is not a great route runner. But he’s big and can catch.

Lots of hype for a guy that 52% of his production last year came in three games.

I couldn’t agree more. He has a huge catch radius, but he isn’t going to run by anyone.

So you have Wilson, and three guys that have never played in a FSU game before at WR/TE. None of that matters though.

Very overrated. Guy rarely shows up and is one dimensional.

Keon Coleman will be a bigger threat, but obviously Johnny Wilson is a matchup nightmare.

Rotate safeties at nickel to man up on him. Jam his arse all night. He will get discouraged.

It seems easy for commentators to latch onto his size and run with it as a talking point. But I don’t think he beat us last year or will this year. And yes… I am tired of hearing people talk about him because while he’s a good player, I think he’s just an average player that’s in the mix.

Coleman is being talked up more than Wilson, for good reason. He's one of the best receivers in the country.

So, he's the F.S.U. version of L.S.U.'s Ka'Morreun Pimpton. It works both ways.....

Our guys have never lined up against a 6’7 receiver that can run.

And by all accounts our DB’s we’re getting smoke for the majority of fall practice.

He would’ve been our 2nd best receiver last year and it’s not even close. And he put up those numbers on an Arizona State team. Quit being so upset that there are good players that are going to be talked about that aren’t on LSU’s team.
