The Louisiana State Police is beyond corrupt. They should be disbanded. I don’t know when they crossed the line from being a legitimate and honorable law enforcement agency to a corrupt organization, but it’s been in the last 10-15 years.

I used to work with an old engineer who was a retired higher-up at DOTD. He used to say that the only thing LSP had ever been good for was escorting governors to various whorehouses around the state.

As bad as Franklinton is, Bogalusa is exponentially worse.

Well.. you proved my point, when you have to shite on the amount of charging stations in bogalus, you’ve lost.

That was sarcasm, we didn’t need them in Franklinton no more than Bogalusa needs them. The only difference between the mayor’s of Franklinton and Bogalusa is age. We have a old school politician and Bogalusa thought they elected some young buck that was actually going to make a difference. The only thing keeping Bogalusa afloat is what’s left of the mill, they better hope that doesn’t get shut down. Franklinton ain’t no paradise but it’s better than Bogalusa.

Frick LSP. Corrupt bunch of bastards with their little drill sarge hats.
Sadly, Jeff Landry won’t do anything about it.

“ but it’s been in the last 10-15 years”

Been going on a lot longer than that,at least 50 years that I know of.
I got out of Navy 50 years go when I was 22,the commander of troop E,later promoted to major, owned a night club with open bar.
Place was full of 16-17 year old kids, some of them drunk on their butts.Place was out of city limits, they were never raided.

Sam Walton’s daughter lives near me. She got arrested for DUI a few years back. Mysteriously the TX DPS trooper that retired early. Seems he came into a bunch of money unexpectedly and moved out of state.

I know a couple of former troopers. Their opinions of the organization, from top to bottom, is absolutely terrifying.

I’ve become more and more suspicious of the blue as I’ve aged. Young bucks with power. Not good.

When I was a soldier in the U.S Army, we were held to a higher standard. What we represented reflected in our behavior. It should be the same with LEOs. I say put Brett Dupree UNDER the jail.

You have no idea how many good people they are willing to screw over and to what lengths to protect the blue, even against one of their own who tries to do the right thing. The corruption is deeper than anyone can fathom.
