It is time for this organization to be dismantled. What is their purpose anyway? Why do schools give this group any credibility or power?

I agree with you that the time has come, but the NCAA is an elective body made up of school presidents and their proxies. This group is us, in a sense. Presidents need to be convinced that there is a better way.
