These people don't realize you can scroll past it and it counts as a view

What metric is used for the View count?
The main Twitter video view metric is triggered when a user watches a video for at least 2 seconds and sees at least 50% of the video player in-view. This applies to View metrics for both uploaded videos and live broadcasts.

So simply scrolling down your timeline slowly will likely trigger a view. Couple that with the fact that Twitter (X) has somewhere between 350M - 450M users....

Some of them do. They just lie because they think that is what you’re supposed to do in politics.

Okay, libtard.

There are definitely 171,000,000 people watching that interview. Cope.

So you are an idiot as well. Twitter impressions aren’t Twitter views.

It’s hilarious you guys are cherry picking when it was clear that tucker was more watched than fox.

Let’s say that is true, it is meaningless. Trump drives attention from both sides of the aisle.

No. You have to actively click on the video for it to count a view. Simply scrolling past it does not count as a view.

I don't care what the number is for the interview, but am interested because this debate has come up before. How does your suggestion square with the following from Twitter as a requirement to count as a view -

Twitter video view metric is triggered when a user watches a video for at least 2 seconds and sees at least 50% of the video player in-view.

I'm not much of a Twitter user. Is it possible to actively click on a video and have less than a full view of the video player?

A video starts playing on its own as you scroll past it as long as the video is basically in the middle of your screen. You don’t have to click on it for it to play.

No, there aren't. It's absurd to think 171 million people watched that interview. The entire twitter user base is ~400 million. You think 40+% of worldwide twitter users watched that interview? Come on.

Get with the program.

Twitter has 450M viewers and half of them watched the entire interview.

Why Trump can’t win the popular vote is because it has to be fraud.
