re: Anyone quit smoking cigarettes?

I laid a pack of Marlboro with 6 cigs in it on my dresser one night in 1995 and never smoked another one. My 8 yr old son had started crying that day when I lit one up, saying he didn’t want me to die. That did it for me.
I used lozenges, gum, and patches for about two months to ease the withdrawal.
