re: No matter what about (man influenced) climate change, those claiming it are always right.

Man knows that it has been much hotter, and much colder on this planet several times before we ever showed up.
That is, we already know the climate can (and will again) change drastically with or without us. Life on this planet changed drastically as a result.
We seem to have lost all sight of what the climate changing actually means for us. What are we trying to accomplish, and how are we going to test if it is even working? Or better yet, how could we ever estimate the impact of natural warming/cooling cycles offsetting the man made impact in measured temperature trends? Do we want it to be hotter or colder?
What we need to do now is produce reliable records of our weather, without any sort of agenda. People hundreds or even more likely thousands of years from now will appreciate it so they can actually have somewhat meaningful trend analysis.
None of that means we shouldn’t be environmentally conscious.
